Families, we have a special event for you today. If you usually wait in the parent pick-up line, we encourage you to wait in the secondary library instead! (The library is the building between the high school and middle school, right in front of our guest parking). We will have a sign in sheet to walk your child over to the library if you'd like. We want to help you with any resources you might need, and there's also some helpful information from the Latino Agency that you can check out. The event starts at 1:30 and you can stop by whenever you can until 3:30 PM. --------------------------- Familias, tenemos un evento especial para usted hoy. Si normalmente esperas en la línea de recogida de los padres, te animamos a esperar en la biblioteca secundaria! (La biblioteca es el edificio entre la escuela secundaria y la escuela intermedia, en frente de nuestro estacionamiento para huéspedes). The Crooked Oak High School Debate/Speech team recently made their debut at a competition, showcasing an array of talents. They presented a poetry piece, a dramatic duet, and two humorous duet performances. We're thrilled to announce that all three duets have advanced to the regional level! --------------- El equipo de Debate/Discurso de la Escuela Secundaria hizo recientemente su debut en una competición, mostrando una variedad de talentos. Completar este examen es el primer paso para lograr el "Sello de Alfabetización Bilingüe" y para obtener los cordones de honor bilingües. Recibir este sello es un gran logro, valuado por universidades y empresas que buscan empleados bilingües./ Attention HS students. Did you know? the ACCESS test allows them to prove their multilingual skills. Completing this exam is the first step to achieving the "Seal of Biliteracy" and bilingual honor cords. Receiving this seal is a huge accomplishment, sought after by universities and potential employers who are searching for bilingual applicants.
